After creating all content; film, image, GIF and strategy manual, I would overall say I am happy with the work we have collectively as a group create and my individual work. Due to the fact that I have never had to style, photograph or edit film and image before meant I was overwhelmed at the start of the process. However, I am happy with the outcomes created.

I would say I am proud of our image, it fits the Northern Soul theme well and the styling reflects the time period. Although it doesn’t fit our initial photography moodboard, there is good reason. After our first photoshoot we realised that our idea had to change slightly in order to fit the brief as the images we got didn’t show the styling as we wanted, as it was too dark and didn’t fit our initial idea. Our second photoshoot with our model was much more successful and for this reason we did the film at this time too. The film does represent the photography moodboard much more, with the distorted coloured view and the dance element. Our GIF happily represents our entire concept and initial idea, emphasising the dance and escapism elements.

Our film shows the whole night that the Northern Soul movement represented. From beginning to end the model is lost in her thoughts and escapes from reality. It was really important to me that this was highlighted in our film, as it is more challenging to relay the message through an image.

The MUAH and Model moodboards are reflected very effectively through our work, matching what we envisaged at the start of the module.
